"STYLE IS IN YOUR DNA"

OLIVES SALONS' TIPS FOR FINDING YOUR FASHION SENSE

I'm CONSTANTLY ASKED FOR STYLE ADVICE.
I hate to give guidelines because what works for one person won't necessarily work for another
But here's what I believe: the worst fashion faux pas is looking in the mirror and seeing somebody else.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN FIND YOUR OWN STYLE.
If I tell you what to do, it's not your style anymore, it's mine.
Your style has to come from you, style can not be bought or learned - it's in your DNA. You can get help to bring it out, and you can learn how to be better dressed.
But in the end, style is inherent. A personal shopper or stylist cant give it o you, either.

STYLE IS ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE.
It's not about wearing expensive closes.
You can have all kinds of money and have no style. You can be dressed in the latest couture, $10'000 shoes and be bubbled to the nines, and look like a Christmas tree.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU WEAR  BUT HOW YOU WEAR IT.
I' m just as happy to wear bangles that cost $3 as I am to wear valuable pieces. I like to mix high and low...... when you try too hard, you look uncomfortable like you're wearing a costume. If you're uptight, you won't be able to carry off even a seemingly perfect outfit. If that's happening, I say abandon the whole thing. It's better to be happy than well dressed.

THE ART OF FORGIVENESS.

Frank envisages the importance of Forgiveness, to maintain good relationships. Moreover, who does one constantly interact with?  it's family members first, then friends, neighbors, relatives, and those one associates with daily life. More often it's the spouse, children, and parents that need pardoning most for hurts inflicted, perhaps unintentionally.     Would You not therefore rather forgive than hold a grudge, instead of disrupting the peace in a home.?     Harboring a hurt is to be resentful which of course is not good. The sufferer is the one holding the resentment. It is also self-destructive and harmful to others. Often due to disagreements, one gets into a heated argument. Harsh words leave an agonizing pain, and with time, the hurt deepens, if no effort for an amendment is made. This is exactly what happened between HIM and his WIFE ( Grace Frank ), in such instances, it becomes even more difficult to forgive. This is the greatest hitch and block. Not forgiving, fes
