A very good day to you all.
Well, we meet again today and the matter on the table is the word
WAR I believe they’re over trillions and trillions of words in languages, and you
what iron is the longer the word the less meaning but the shorter it is the
strongest it stands.
E.g. understand vs hate or knowledge vs war.
So since we’re talking about war I think let’s start from
the beginning.
WWI started on 28th July 1914 and ended on 11TH
November 1918, it took 4 years 3 months, and 2 weeks.
The damage was big to the world from infrastructure to massive death.
9’911’000/= military and 7’700’000/= civilians which make a total of over 17’611’000/=
This was a lot of life loss.
And let’s see another.
WWII started on 1ST September 1939 and ended on 14TH august 1949 which took 7 years and this time the damage was too massive and unbelievable
24’000’000 military and 49’000’000 civilians which
total number of over 73’000’000people’s life’s loss
And I think they couldn’t get the number of dead people from
the nuclear boom in japan from two regions (Nagasaki and Hiroshima).
Then if we combine these numbers from ww1 and ww2 we get
90’611’000/= and since there was over so we make 100’000’000/= life loss.
TANZANIA VS UGANDA.
And now we come back to our unique nation Tanzania we’ve had wars of our own but the biggest of all took place on 9TH October 1978 and ended on 3RD June 1979 this war took (7months, 3 weeks, and 4 days.)
The reasons for war started way 7yrs back after Nduli idd
Amin dada overthrew the government and invaded Tanzania in the region called
Kagera, other African nations were quiet then our late first president Julius
Kambarage Nyerere gathered 150’000 military people and rebels from Uganda that
joined the movement.
Uganda was helped by Pakistani, Libya, and Iran and still, we
won the war.
WARNING.
If history repeats itself then this war may come again so
I argue with the president and all Tanzanians to stay on high alert.
Please remember war isn’t good at all and let’s be very diplomatic
in solving any conflicts between us and our neighboring countries.
Thank you and God bless our nation.
Frank Mcharo.
