Frank firmly believes that in any endeavor, taking that first single step is absolutely necessary; without it, nothing ever happens.
Referring to relationships, there are three distinct points one needs to know, take heed of, and put into practice.
1; WORDS --- Create an impact.
2; MONEY --- A dangerous weapon or a booster.
3; WISDOM --- To know that all are mere travelers, diversified by different goals.
WORDS; he realizes, are the most powerful resources one has, either to build or break relationships. Sometimes in a fit of temper, nasty things are said to one another, which one does not really mean; and later regrets what was said on calming down. Also, "WORDS ' directed at others, can either make or break a person. positive strokes especially by parents to children, or teachers to students, can work wonders!. Hence the foremost step is to choose our words carefully, avoiding negative terms, or statements, that would either hurt or insult.
What is also crucial in the art of talking effectively is; Tone of Voice; Body Language and Facial expression. For instance, in the matter of Correction; it's the tone of your voice that will determine whether it's said with genuine love and concern, for the betterment of the person! this in itself would soften the blow, maintaining the relationship. One's approach should stem from sending across the massage..... "Though I'm telling you this, it is important to maintain 'our' friendship. No offense, only good intent".
-The next point is MONEY'; A dangerous weapon that can totally destroy and soil friendship. in the business world, Frank's experience is: it's an arrow that can pierce, in the form of slashing each other for one to be up another. Relationships here are side-tracked and crushed beneath the weight of greed! so the first thing one needs to know is Money, though an essential commodity, is not everything.
Other than what's mentioned above, there's yet another strong aspect. Insufficiency of money for the bare necessities to survive can cause a lot of confusion, and in-fighting within a family;, it can be a grave medium to generate friction in relationships; side-tracking harmony and joy
I would like to say to YOU here, that lack of Money is such a potent aspect in disrupting 'relationships', that even though a reference has already been made on this topic. I'm touching on this subject again, so it'll sink deep into your mind. if you ever have such a problem, you will know how to deal with it and sail on smoothly. Also, though Money gives happiness, and is always in 'want', the graciousness and richness of the heart are much more important and valuable.
-Here's Frank again, enlightened by the third point WISDOM'; the highest form of intellect. Still patiently waiting, his thought is on how every person has an aim or goal in life. What makes the difference is, to take that initial step without which, nothing materialized. So that's he's here for now at the hotel! Hence, first things first.
When one decides to take that first step, it's also imperative to know the destination! the question of taking that step does not even arise if one does not where he's heading. What's even crucial is the wisdom to realize that achieving goals without earning good relationships alongside would be void. Just imagine being at the winning end all alone with no one to cheer you, just by yourself - only because of your foolishness in ignoring the importance of building relationships along the way!
Frank himself was a loser since matters were not dealt with wisely. Though distressed, he's once again excited, envisioning his future, this time with confidence and complete faith and trust in the divine.
Therefore, the precedence to his journey is to conceive the truth of the fact that his venture will be pleasantly victorious, fulfilling, and joyful only if relationships are built along the way. This is especially important in family situations.
A Single Step therefore with good intent will take one a long way of .......
He decides to lift one foot to take that step
The next will follow, and he's determined to experience a delightful journey!
As Frank contemplates all this, he experiences a surge of calmness and feels great.
Thank you.
Frank Mcharo.
